“I Don’t Like You” is out, and it’s doing quite well, appearing in the top 20 on iTunes, and racking up over 280,000 views (on an “audio only” entry) on YouTube/Vevo so far.
There haven’t yet been any Grace appearances posted on the Internet, or shown on TV, but we know that Grace is in LA and indicated that things are about to get crazy again for her, so promotional efforts featuring her are very likely on the way.
We did get many articles announcing the single drop from outlets like Rolling Stone and others, and the reactions across the board have been overwhelmingly positive for this latest single.
Here’s hoping the next couple of weeks bring us a brand new music video and a few personal appearances/performances from Grace on TV and on the Internet.
It should also be noted that PR firm Halestorm, headquartered in the United Kingdom (http://www.halestormpr.co.uk/) is heading up the promotion on “I Don’t Like U”. Some notable current clients with the firm include Weezer, The Vamps, Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), and Fall Out Boy. Past clients include Shawn Mendes with whom the firm promoted his monster album “Illuminate”.
I have grown to really love the studio version of this song, especially the final minute when it really gets moving and we hear Grace’s multi track vocals kick in.
You can read my review of the song, published on Friday October 18th here: https://vandervault.org/2019/10/18/review-i-dont-like-you-studio-version/
Grace also treated fans with a sneak peek at a new song she’s been working on (and apparently written not using a uke, but a piano)…I absolutely love this haunting song about the excitement and anxiety of new beginnings…

What does this next week have in store for us? I can’t wait to find out.
