While this week was a slow one in the GraceVerse, we did get a few really nice treats beginning with a video released by Rolling Stone featuring Grace talking about her song “Ur So Beautiful”. While the video was shot way back in late June it was still nice to see what had been filmed by the most iconic music journalism magazine (Billboard is more of a trade magazine)…

(the day the live rooftop performances were shot) The interview portion was recorded during a “media day” for Grace where she also shot the “Ask Me Anything” segment for Radio.com.

In it she talks about her being able to realize a long standing objective of using adjectives normally associated with female beauty for application to both genders and how the lyric video for “Ur So Beautiful” came about…

Later on the week Grace went on a social media blitz of welcome silliness, sharing with us a few minutes in the studio with her long-standing collaborator/producer/co-writer Ido Zmishlany and her mom where we got to hear some tweaking of “The City”, Grace’s home-made cheesecake, Ido’s almond milk recipes, some environment-friendly activities, veganism, long-chew steak, and more. ;)

We also got a couple more sneak peeks at Grace working in the studio, again on “The City”…
